Hooray I have made it to Helsinki and I have 15 more minutes of internet time before I have to go and find more coins. Fortunately, I have 40 euros to spend and nowhere else to go. Livejournal in Finnish is tricky, but I rose to the challenge - no way was I wasting precious seconds looking for the change language button!

Today I am happy to be on the way home. Mostly because Íve managed to navigate three airports in foreign languages so far without getting lost! I even did a whole flight with alitalia without the food bringing guy even realising i dont speak italian. the chick at the food shop at the airport realised though. you could tell by the way she was a complete bitch to me.

this finnish keyboard is reeking havoc with my punctuation - ive been forced to abandon apostrophes completely as they result in ä or sometimes ö.

ten minutes to go... i shall go and see what is happening in brisbane (and what the fuck i wrote last time i was online - my memories of that period are somewhat blurry).
